HISTORICAL LABOR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS
Florida historically has been a Right To Work state and therefore has a
constitutional amendment guaranteeing the right to work regardless of membership
of non-membership in a labor union. During the five year period between
1987-1992, there were four union elections. Of these four elections, one was won
by a union according to the National Labor Relations Board.
